By using the AnimeSite website (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

AnimeSite is an anime catalog with an episode release schedule and a player. Descriptions, posters and ratings use open data from Shikimori. Video is played through the third-party Kodik player embedded on the Service’s pages. We do not host or store video files on our servers.

2. Age

The Service is intended for users over 18. By starting to use the Service, you confirm that you have reached that age. Some titles may contain material not suitable for minors.

3. Account

An account is created to sync your lists, watch history, ratings and notifications. You are responsible for keeping access to your email safe and for the actions taken under your account. Let us know if you notice unauthorized access.

4. Rules of use

• use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only;
• do not infringe the rights of copyright holders or third parties;
• do not attempt to bypass technical restrictions or disrupt the operation or security of the Service;
• do not use the Service to distribute malicious or unlawful content.

5. Third-party content

Video is provided by the third-party Kodik player, and metadata by Shikimori. We do not control this content, are not responsible for its availability, accuracy or legality, and do not guarantee its continued presence. Questions about the video and its sources belong with the respective services.

6. Service “as is”

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any harm caused to you or to third parties in connection with the use of the Service or the information posted on it.

7. Changes

We may change the Service and these terms. The current version is always available on this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes are made, you accept the updated terms.
